In 2019, our theme was “back to the basics,” providing recipients with delicious holiday movie themed popcorn recipes they could create on their own using our branded popcorn and special bowl. Created entirely in-house, the team assembled two specialty popcorns and various toppings into the branded Reit box and popcorn bowl and made sure to include their holiday movie recommendations.

Client response was outstanding—wowed by the beautiful packaging and appreciative of the lovely reminder to bring it back to the basics during the holidays!

For each of our holiday promos throughout the years, we make sure we’re presenting the very best to our clients. With extensive research, we chose all the products and ingredients with care.

To add some of the team’s personality, everyone at Reit chose their own favorite holiday movie to pair with the popcorn toppings and flavors.

The Javits Center

Giving Life to a New York Icon.

The Javits Center is the busiest convention center in the United States, generating $2.0 billion in economic impact for New York State. Now Javits Center is in its 30th year of operation, undergoing a renaissance with a revitalized, LEED structure, the 2nd largest green roof in America and has a major expansion underway.

Reit was chosen as agency of record for this iconic facility in 2014, assisting Javits Center in a strategic makeover, creating and producing a portfolio of materials including a new website, newsletters, annual reports, marketing tools, videos, site signage, video screens and event collateral, as well as activating and managing its social media channels. We are proud of our continuing partnership as part of NYC’s Hudson Yards development.

Underscore Marketing

Building the foundation for a family of brands

Underscore is a worldwide strategic media company with an integrated team of cross-media specialists.

When Underscore wanted to expand their brand, they came to Reit to built their brand architecture. As Underscore is an established brand, we had to expand and build upon their existing foundation. These new sub-brands needed to be a part of the overall Underscore brand, but also be able to stand on their own.

To start, we had to determine the appropriate relationship the new sub-brand would have to give it the same credibility. The connection of brand to sub-brand sets the tone for how the sub-brand operates. Each tagline was carefully crafted with these things in mind.

The thoughtfully constructed architecture wouldn’t be complete without a brand system to bring the concepts to life. We not only had to build upon the existing elements of the Underscore brand, but expand them to work across several new brands.

Creating a cohesive brand story

As these new companies are still under the Underscore brand, we needed to set up flexible assets that would work across several names, applications, and colors. To relate back to the Underscore brand, we incorporated their dark blue brand color in the consistent pieces of the logos — the striking slash mark and our final tagline, “An Underscore Company.” The flexibility comes in with the names of each brand and their associated color.

Barnes & Noble

REPRESENTING THE POWER OF ONE.

Barnes & Noble College hosts an annual sales conference in Orlando for its 1000-person management team and since 2004, Reit has provided creative direction and implementation for the entire event.

This year Reit centered the show’s theme around the tagline “Power of One” and produced a mobile-friendly microsite for the event, incorporating the show’s schedule, exhibitor listings and an interactive floor plan.

We also created every detail of their signature interactive presentation space (down to the sofa cushions!), hotel signage and wayfinding, presentation graphics, wall clings, digital screens, printed guides and even a souvenir tote bag for an immersive experience.
