What we are about

We are a team of strategic designers and communicators committed to our clients’ success.

We partner in ways that combine our client’s industry expertise with our strategic approach to brand design to create solutions that serve the goal, accelerate growth, and inspire audiences to interact.

We are a small but mighty team that intentionally partners with clients we admire.

As a result, we are tireless collaborators deeply committed to our clients’ success. Together, we ask questions and chase big ideas to uncover insights, spark fresh thinking, and inspire strategic solutions.

Since our founding in 1996, we’ve grown into one of New York’s leading creative studios

We’ve learned firsthand that integrity, kindness, and excellence are more than agency buzz words. They’re a way of life — and, put simply, they’re the reit way to work.

We’re transparent, honest, and proactive.

Our clients always know what to expect and always stay ahead of the curve. We keep our word and deliver what we promise — on time, on budget, and far above expectations.

We solve real-world challenges visually.

Leadership

Liz Reitman

Liz Reitman, Founder & Creative Director of reitdesign, brings over 25 years of professional art direction and diverse creative communications to the team, sets the studio’s vision and oversees all client relationships and team output. As a multidimensional, design thinker she has an innate sense of loyalty to NYC and a proven track record in smart design. Her dedication to designing for a better future can be seen in her own journey from midtown to downtown Manhattan during the rebuilding efforts after September 11th. Now, two decades later, her company continues to flourish as one of the few women-owned businesses in lower Manhattan that improves the integrity of surrounding neighborhoods through ongoing philanthropic and civic efforts. These efforts have been recognized by the design community and with over 80 awards to date including Daveys, Communicator, and SIA International to name a few.

Liz holds a BFA from the University of Michigan, magna cum laude. She attended the prestigious Business Perspective for Creative Leaders at the Yale School of Management as well as completing the Strategic Steps for Growth Program, presented in partnership with the NYC Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment, and NYU Stern School of Business. She now serves on the Advisory Board for the Department of Small Business Services (SBS) and mentors NYC small business owners quarterly. She is a member of the Parent’s Council for Rhode Island School of Design (RISD), and sits on the board as the Communication/Marketing Chair for the global organization Entrepreneur Organization (EO). She is also a member of the Type Directors Club, AIGA, and Graphic Artists’ Guild.

Liz is involved in a number of community volunteer efforts in New York City, including AIGA’s mentoring program for the High School of Art and Design, yearly portfolio reviews for the Design Department at Fashion Institute of Technology (FIT) and pro bono work for local schools and parks. During her time off, Liz is with her family, very often exploring a museum or on a road trip adventure or jumping on a bike at Flywheel.
